From version 0.5.4 on I will only be supporting 1.3 versions of the JDK/JRE and greater. I can not keep testing on every version of the JDK and think that one major version back is sufficient.

The JDK's tested are from Sun. If there are any others please let me know.

Microsoft

  • Windows NT - 1.3, 1.3.1, 1.4
  • Window 98 - 1.3, 1.4
  • Window 2000 - 1.3, 1.3.1, 1.4

The 1.4 beta 3 on windows and linux is closing the gap between consistency !!!!!

Linux

  • Suse 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 using KDE and GNOME
  • Redhat 7.2
  • RH 9, using Blackdown j2re1.4.1, and GNOME confirmed by Mack C. Sessoms

Sun

JDK 1.3.x, JDK 1.4 Sun JDK

IBM

  • JDK 1.3

You will have to remap the keys to get the keys to work correctly.

Update for the IBM JDK. It seems to have a problem with the last release 0.5.5

Apple

MAC OS X 10.2.1 and 10.2.3 (Jaguar)
